The choreography was prefect this time the sword play was paced and more fluid and logical. The music and mood was better. The characters were better, with better lines and acting. There is a sense of power during many of the scenes that far surpasses any of the other films and this creates a sense of awe and excitement. At times it is a little funny but not in a cheap way. It does feel long but it needs to be in order to resolve the series.

Palpatine is like “If you kill me, my spirit will possess you.” and Rey is like “Well Im not gonna do that. I dont want to get possessed by a Sith.” Then Palpatine shoots lightning at her and she immediately kills him and he doesnt possess her, because reasons.

Even Revenge of the Sith, from the 2nd batch is 23 bucks! This movie is a perfect example of communist ideology. Put the incompetent in charge. Why is it that u can jump to light speed and all that with a PC from the 80s. America needs to take note. I was born in 1977, grew up with Star Wars, and it's always been one of my favorites. I didn't love the prequels, but was able to overlook Jar Jar, and enjoyed the choreography. I didn't like the politics side, nor the third movie, in the prequel but those movies were ok. The first in this new series I thought was great, but the second was garbage. In other words, I'm not a pedantic Star Wars fan but I have my limits.

This made me laugh so much. Finns dialogue whenever hes around Rey is just him shouting “REY!” in various ways. If it was shorter people would complain about plot holes. If it was too serious, and worried about following some special rules, it would bore some people. If it didn't pay some fan service people would complain about things that could have been done that wasn't. You can't please them all.

If you are the type that might say something like the "Awe common, book 12 of XYZ says the force can't do that" then you might, not like this movie. And I recommend that you chill out and enjoy the ride. For everyone else, you'll love it.

I loved how they explained how Rey and Kylo Ren's souls are joined together forming a Dyad. Kylo Ren was able to overpower Rey using her own moves against her. Wished they did that in the second movie.

The idea of bringing back the Emperor wasn't a terrible idea imo (Mostly because I love Mcdiarmid's performance) but it should've been much better integrated into the trilogy.

For a fan like movie was near perfect. This is especially true when you consider the mess they had to clean up after episode 8. Rise of the Skywalker was way way better than I expected, and I expect a lot from J.J.
